About Me — DakotaHMDesigns

I’m a communication designer who is forever honing my craft. Who finds it exciting whenever I get the chance to learn new software or skills that help me to become a better designer. I attended a multidisciplinary program at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated in May 2026. I prefer to work on projects that are branding, campaign-based, editorial, packaging design, and photography-based, but I can design for all types of projects.

Now what makes me — Me. What things have shaped me into who I am?
Those things would be: my goals and dreams. My family and friends. Getting to travel around the world. My favorite movies, TV shows, and most importantly, music.

When I'm not busy working on designs, I enjoy doing a lot of different activities in my free time. I enjoy going on long walks outside, taking photos, playing Minecraft, and doing random crafts for no reason other than – I want to. I really enjoy spending time with those I’m close to and just talking about whatever with them to pass the time. Traveling is another thing I enjoy doing a lot. I like getting to experience different cultures and seeing their important sites, having gotten the chance to visit India, South Africa, and parts of Europe. I also love watching movies like Crazy Rich Asians, Wall-E, and The Age of Adaline, as well as TV shows like High Potential, Only Murders In The Building, and Mom. I love listening to a lot of different musicians like Taylor Swift, Maisie Peters, Conan Gray, Chloe Qisha, and Sunday (1994), among others, and attending many concerts like Bite Me, Miss. Possessive, Back To Badlands, and It’s Not That Deep.
