I then came up with three different themes based on an aspect of St. Louis’s history that my store could be themed around, with my ideas being: celestial navigation, the flight cage, and journalism.
For the color palette, I chose colors from aspects of the night sky, pulling colors from the Aurora Borealis and the colors of the sky.
For the fonts, I chose to use a font pairing of one bold, heavy-weight sans-serif and one lighter, more fancy-looking serif font.
To make the logo for #826 Star Dust Factory, I started by sketching a ton of variants of my logo, trying different sizing, placement, widths, and styling. I then tried a multitude of different fonts, having a hard time choosing a pairing at first, but I eventually found one that worked well.
