In-Focus Cameras Packaging Process For this project, I first did research on the life and habits of my audience, the current market, and where my brand could position itself, and other brands that would be my competitors.

My mood board for this project was based on having more nature-inspired design elements, since my brand’s main theme was getting users to focus on the present.

For the color palette, I chose colors that I thought would best represent each version of the camera, while choosing colors for the brand itself that were inspired by the body colors of cameras.

I used one clean and simple sans-serif font for all the body copy elements. While combining two fonts for heading lines and the logo. Specifically looking for fonts that had stretched-out letters to give it a “pause” effect.

When it came to handling the imagery, I chose to go with a film reel look since In-Focus was inspired by the point-and-shoot aspect of disposable cameras.

The ideation for this project started by focusing on designing the elements to use for the brand, like logo, icons, patterns, as well as figuring out the language for the brand. I then started working on the actual package design, making a dozen different versions, trying something new new one each one.  I ended up using at least one element of most of my versions in the final design I came up with.
